  • What are the Danolyte® EPA Registration Numbers?
    EPA List N (Products approved for use again SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) EPA Registration No. 91582-1 (Hospital Level Disinfectant and Sanitizer) EPA Registration No. 91582-KS-1
  • What makes Danolyte® a Hospital Level Disinfectant?
    The EPA has established a rigorous set of tests that solutions must pass to be considered “Hospital Level Disinfectants”. While the EPA registers several different types of disinfectants, the highest level issued is the Hospital Level. Killing Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, which hides behind a bio-film, is required for “Hospital Level Disinfectants”. Hospital Level Disinfectants must also be supported by AOAC Use Dilution or AOAC Germicidal Spray efficacy testing against Cholerasuis, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus Aureus. Danolyte® has passed all of the above tests.
  • What is HOCI?
    Hypochlorous Acid (HOCI) is a naturally occurring molecule already found in the human body. This molecule plays an integral role in the body's immune response system. This compound has been replicated by scientists through the proprietary combination of purified salt and water. HOCI can kill deadly microorganisms with its antimicrobial traits, which makes it equally as effective against unwanted bacteria, molds, fungi, and viruses.
  • Is Danolyte® effective against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19 / Coronavirus)
    Danolyte® is included on the EPA’s List N and has been proven effective against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) on hard, nonporous surfaces. When applied in accordance with the recommended application directions, Danolyte® can be used against SARS-CoV-2 and similar viruses.
  • Why is Danolyte® superior to other sanitizing, disinfecting, and deodorizing products?"
    Danolyte is an eco-friendly disinfectant, sanitizer, and deodorizer that is suitable for homes to hospitals, and everything in between. This nature derived product is sustainable and has been scientifically proven to be equally (if not more) effective than harsh synthetic chemicals that make the same claims.
  • Is Danolyte® safe for all surfaces?
    Tables, countertops, food contact surfaces, computers, mobile devices, walls, high end finishes, and other hard surfaces are all approved for Danolyte® application. The absence of alcohol and other harsh chemicals make Danolyte® great for a multitude of applications and has been proven to not cause any skin irritation when applied according to the label.
  • Does Danolyte® contain artificial or synthetic fragrances?
    Danolyte® is an odorless solution. Danolyte® has been proven effective at deodorizing air and surfaces without the use of artificial or synthetic fragrances. Danolyte® does have a slight chlorine smell upon initial application which immediately disappears after application.
  • Is Danolyte® safe to use around pets, animals, and children?"
    Danolyte® disinfectant, sanitizer, and deodorizer is derived from nature and only includes 3 simple ingredients: salt, water, and electricity. While Danolyte® is powerful enough to sanitize a hospital, it is also safe enough to use without PPE and around pets or children when applied according to the directions on the label. Following the application directions ensures optimal safety and effectiveness.
  • What is and How does Hypochlorous Acid (HOCI) work?
    Playing an integral part in the human body, hypochlorous acid is nature's oldest disinfectant. Hypochlorous Acid (HOCI) literally breaks down the infection causing cells by destroying the cell membrane and the physical DNA. This breakdown prevents the reproduction or growth process of the infection or virus. Also known as anolyte water, hypochlorous acid is created by electrolyzing saltwater in an anode chamber of an electrolyte cell. Danolyte® contains over 99.4% water with the remaining parts of the solution being chloride salts and hypochlorous acid.
